“I have had a wonderful time volunteering at SACA. I’m truly glad to partake in the great things they do for people in need”

Volunteers make the difference!

SACA relies on weekly volunteers to support neighbors who depend on our services. In 2024, SACA served over 68,000 individuals with 93% of our service hour carried out by volunteers!  It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to provide the services we do, and our dedicated volunteers keep our operations running!

Fill out our online application linked below, and our Program Manager will reach out to you!

A Note about Volunteering at SACA:

Due to limited staffing and the unpredictable nature of donations, SACA staff are unable to work alongside daytime volunteers for an entire shift. Staff can provide initial guidance and emergency support, but volunteers need to be able to fulfill volunteer responsibilities independently.

Volunteer shifts involve standing, bending, lifting, maneuvering carts, and communicating in English. If you anticipate any challenges with fulfilling a daytime volunteer role, please sign up for our volunteer newsletter to stay informed of other special event volunteer opportunities.

Groups are accepted for the SACA Delivers program, and special events. Groups of more than three are not accepted for daytime operations.
